We are delighted to announce that we’ve been granted a Royal Warrant of Appointment as Manufacturer of Gloves to His Majesty The King.
To receive His Majesty’s Royal Warrant is a great honour and requires ongoing rigorous work on sustainability, traceability and fairness throughout our business.
Robert Yentob, our Chairman, said he is honoured that we will continue to supply His Majesty with our beautifully crafted gloves.
Our CEO, Deborah Moore, said, “we are so proud to have been granted His Majesty’s Royal Warrant. We have been in business since 1777 and have made so many of the Coronation gloves, so it’s another very special moment in our long history.”
Royal Warrants are a mark of recognition to individuals or companies who have supplied goods or services for at least five years to HM The King or HM The Queen. Warrants have always been regarded as demonstrating excellence and quality, and are highly prized.
Warrants are granted to named individuals – Grantees – who must personally ensure the Warrant is used correctly. Warrant Holders may display the relevant Royal Arms and the legend ‘By Appointment’ on their products, premises, stationery, vehicles and advertising.
Whatever their size or specialisation Warrant Holders are united by their commitment to the highest standards of service and excellence.
Dents was first awarded a Royal Warrant in 2016 by His Royal Highness, the Prince of Wales and so this Royal Arms is displayed on our products. We look forward to receiving the new Royal Arms to continue displaying it with enormous pride.
